The intention of this project was to create a cohesive art direction on the user interface; including new screens, elements, and functionality.
Helping the player interact with basic gameplay in a process that was easy to understand and visually appealing was the goal. This was achieved by scaling down the number of overall clutter on screen down to a minimum and combining certain elements to be represented through the use of iconography and shape grouping to improve the user experience.
This was achieved with a visual design that captures the essence of the dark fantasy setting, complete with feudal undertones.
